mPE-Based Compatibilizers

This product is produced through reactive extrusion grafting of maleic anhydride (MAH) onto a metallocene LLDPE-based compound, endowing it with excellent polarity and reactivity that makes it particularly suitable for low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant polyolefin cable applications. Even at small addition levels, it significantly enhances the compatibility between flame-retardant inorganic fillers and the polyolefin matrix, dramatically improving the material's tensile strength and elongation at break while enabling higher inorganic filler loading - ultimately optimizing the overall performance of LSZH polyolefin cable materials.

Typical Applications:

1.Compatibilizer for aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide-filled polyethylene/polyolefin halogen-free flame-retardant cable compounds, significantly improving tensile strength and elongation at break.

2.Radiation-crosslinked low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) polyolefin flame-retardant cables, dramatically enhancing oil resistance performance.

3.Co-extrusion bonding agent for nylon/EVOH/metal multilayers and modifier for composite films.

4.Compatibilizer for inorganic-reinforced and filled polymer systems, improving interfacial adhesion.

5.Toughening compatibilizer for polyolefin-based wood-plastic composites (WPC).

Recommended Loading:

With its high maleic anhydride (MAH) grafting ratio and excellent tensile properties, this product achieves optimal performance at relatively low loadings, typically in the 5-8% range. The specific dosage should be adjusted by customers according to their formulation designs and final performance requirements, allowing for flexible adaptation to various application needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
