This MAH-grafted EVA copolymer product maintains the base material's performance while exhibiting enhanced polarity and reactivity, making it ideal for producing low-smoke zero-halogen flame-retardant cable compounds with high filler loading. It significantly improves the dispersion and compatibility of magnesium/aluminum hydroxide fillers, maximizing flame retardancy while enhancing mechanical and thermal properties. With outstanding processability, it effectively increases tensile strength, elongation rate and oxygen index, particularly suited for premium applications like photovoltaic cables and oil-resistant halogen-free cable materials.

Typical Applications:

1.Compatibilizer for EVA or polyolefin-based halogen-free flame-retardant cable compounds requiring high oxygen index

2.Coupling agent/dispersant for halogen-free flame-retardant fillers (e.g., aluminum hydroxide & magnesium hydroxide), enhancing EVA-inorganic filler compatibility while increasing inorganic filler loading capacity

3.Compatibilizer and toughening agent for polyolefin-based wood-plastic composites

4.Compatibilizer/coupling agent for TPE and EVA modification, significantly improving tensile properties of olefin-based halogen-free compounds

5.Compatibilizer, coupling agent, and adhesion promoter (e.g., for metal co-extrusion bonding) in hot-melt adhesives and sealants

Recommended Loading:

With its high maleic anhydride grafting ratio, this product achieves optimal performance at relatively low loadings, typically between 6-10%. The exact loading should be determined by end-users based on their formulation design and final performance requirements.
