Product Description
Y2345 is a maleic anhydride grafted SEBS product. By introducing polar maleic anhydride functional groups onto the non-polar SEBS backbone, it acts as an efficient interfacial modifier. It significantly reduces the interfacial tension between the non-polar phase and polar engineering plastics (such as PA and PET) in polymer blends, enhances the interaction between the two phases, and thus provides both compatibilization and toughening effects. Y2345 exhibits excellent affinity with TPE and various polar substrates.

Processing Recommendations
Y2345 offers good thermal stability. The recommended processing temperature range is 190°C to 260°C. The final processing temperature should be optimized based on the specific formulation, equipment type, and process conditions. Small-scale trials are recommended before mass production.
General Applications
Polymer Alloys: Used as a compatibilizer and toughening agent in alloy systems such as PA/PPO and PA/PP to significantly improve impact strength.
Filled Modification: Improves the interfacial bonding between mineral fillers (e.g., talc, magnesium hydroxide) and TPE or SEBS, enhancing mechanical properties and surface quality.
Adhesive Layer: Serves as a hot-melt adhesive or bonding layer for metal (aluminum, steel) to plastic lamination, or in multi-layer co-extrusion structures (e.g., barrier films containing PA or EVOH).
Storage and Safety
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This product is hygroscopic. Keep containers sealed after opening to prevent moisture absorption.
Shelf Life: 12 months from the production date under proper storage conditions in the original unopened packaging.
Safety: Ensure ventilation during high-temperature processing. Wear protective gloves and goggles during handling. Refer to the product SDS for detailed safety information.
